What We Believe

Centennial Lutheran Church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Luthern Synod.
     As such, we believe:
  • In the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and in the power of God’s Word to change a person’s life.
  • That the Bible is in every word, the true and inspired Word of God, the sole authority for our life of faith.
  • That God created men and women and determined how they should live.
  • That everyone is sinful by nature, still sins daily, and deserves to spend eternity in hell.
  • That Jesus Christ is God’s own Son, who came into this world to be the Savior of all people, so that all
might have forgiveness and eternal life through faith in Him.
  • That through faith we now stand holy and righteous in God’s sight and receive the free gift of heaven.
  • That baptism is for infants as well as adults.
  • That Holy Communion is the very body and blood of Christ received with the bread and wine.
